Is Kratom Tea Legal in the United States?
Absolutely! Kratom is currently unscheduled by the United States government, meaning that kratom tea is absolutely safe to possess, make, and consume. I do believe that Indiana, Wisconsin, Vermont, Tennessee, and Arkansas have banned kratom, so if you live in one of those states kratom tea might be illegal for you.

Is Kratom Tea Safe?

While there hasn't been extensive studies done on kratom, it has been used for thousands of years at this point. There has never been a deadly overdose from kratom tea or kratom alone.

How do I make Kratom Tea?

First buy some kratom tea bags or make your own kratom tea bags. Boil some water (about 30 ounces)and add in the bags and boil for 5-7 minutes (or until 75 percent of the water has boiled down). Add in some lemon or orange juice and a healthy amount of your favorite honey for sweetening. Bingo. You just made yourself some top notch kratom tea.

How many grams of kratom should I use for one cup of kratom tea?

This is a subjective answer, but in my opinion, 50 grams is the perfect dosage for a strong glass of kratom tea.

When kratom first hit the market in the United States a few years ago, it was mainly available in one form and that was leaf form. A lot the first people selling kratom in the United States sold it in leaf form, or made kratom tea out of the leaves.

It wasn't until a couple of years ago that kratom powder began gaining popularity in the United States and now it is available for sale in almost every head shop and vape shop in the country.

Kratom powder is simply kratom leaves pulverized down into a fine powdery consistency. Kratom tea brewed with kratom powder is much more potent than that brewed with leaves, and it takes less product to brew a glass.

When kratom powder first came out most people mixed into drinks like chocolate milk or orange juice to try and gulp down as much as possible, or they would make a paste out of the powder by adding small amounts of water and then consume the paste. I can certainly say that these are outdated methods that should be avoided in today's industry, because now there are kratom capsules.

Kratom Capsules are nothing more than kratom powder added into gelatin caps to make it easier to consume. I am not sure what took someone so long to think of this idea, but it was definitely a beautiful find for the industry and kratom lovers alike.

There are a lot of different types of kratom out there, from the different strains to where it was grown. I would recommend a Red Vein strain grown in Thailand.

Kratom has been the buzz around town and the internet lately and many people wonder what the "kratom buzz" is like as well.

I can definitely confirm that kratom effects are very euphoric, enjoyable, relaxing, invigorating, and energizing. There are some more aspects to the kratom high also, and the effects depend on the strain and dosage as well.

Smaller Kratom Dosage Effects

If you are going to take a relatively small dose, which I would consider to be 3-5 grams of your average kratom powder or about 6-10 kratom powder pills, you can probably expect to see the energetic and motivating effects, rather than the relaxation and pain relief. Smaller doses of Kratom have a coffee like effect on me, but it is much stronger. I get clear headed, focused, and motivated.

Larger Kratom Dosage Effects

If you take a larger dose you are more likely to start getting some of the opiate like, analgesic, pain relieving, and relaxing properties. I consider 7-8 grams plus to be a large dose or 15 kratom pills or more. Some people get the same "nod" effect as they do from opiates with huge kratom doses, but I have not taken an amount large enough for that. I can definitely feel kratom start tickling my opiate receptors at around 15 pills though, and the euphoria is quite nice, as is the relaxation.

Red Vein Effects

Known more for pain relief/opiate like properties. Also great for relaxation and sleep. Smaller doses can still have uplifting and energizing effects.

White Vein Effects

Known more for it's coffee like effects. Uplifting, motivating, energetic, and mind clearing. Larger doses can still relax and help with sleep, but that is more associated with red vein kratom.

Green Vein Effects

Green Vein is known to have both ends of the spectrum from relaxation to energy and motivation.
